📐 About Earned Value (EV)
SPI (Schedule Performance Index) — Qty complete ÷ qty you should have done by now. Above 1.0 = ahead of schedule. Below 1.0 = behind.
CPI (Cost/Hours Performance Index) — Qty complete ÷ qty you'd expect given hours burned at planned rate. Above 1.0 = efficient. Below 1.0 = over-burning hours.
EAC (Estimate at Completion) — Projected total hours to finish based on current efficiency.
Forecast basis — Uses the better of last-7-days production and all-time average. If your crew is trending up, that improvement is captured.
